Matt Anthony
Matt Anthony is licensed to practice law and is a member of the State Bars of Texas, New York and Georgia. His practice focuses in the area of nonprofit organizations with an emphasis on compliance issues, real estate, commercial construction, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation and litigation/arbitration. His clients include all types of charitable, religious and, educational organizations as well as small business individuals.
Mr. Anthony attended Baylor University receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in the areas of Finance and Real Estate. He then attended St. Mary’s University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1989 with honors in the study of Secured Transactions.
Prior to founding the Church Law Group, Mr. Anthony began his legal career prosecuting criminal cases as an assistant county and district attorney before entering private civil practice. He is AV Rated by the Martindale Hubbell Peer Review Rating System. An AV rating is a testament to the fact that his peers rank Mr. Anthony at the highest level of professional Excellence. Mr. Anthony is also a member of the Christian Legal Society and National Association of Church Business Administration (NACBA). Mr. Anthony has been selected by Fort Worth, Texas Magazine, as a “Top Attorney” in the area of Religious/Nonprofit Law.

Peggy Fallin
Ms. Fallin serves as “of counsel” for the firm and is licensed to practice law in the States of Texas and Tennessee, as well as in the Supreme Court of the United States. Her primary practice areas are transactional law, nonprofit and profit corporate law, as well as probate and estate planning.
Ms. Fallin graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Texas and received her Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. Prior to attending law school.
Ms Fallin worked in the corporate world where she gained experience in the insurance and oil & gas industries.

David Joe
David Joe serves as “of counsel” to the firm and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Mr. Joe’s practice focuses primarily of civil litigation including corporate law and employment law.
Mr. Joe also practices in the area of nonprofit law handling a wide range of issues affecting churches and ministries. Within the field of nonprofit law. Mr. Joe advices clients on a wide range of issues arising under the laws of more than 25 states. Additionally, Mr. Joe’s practice also includes demonstrated expertise in alternative dispute resolution.
Mr. Joe graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1997 where he participated in moot court competition and was a staff editor of the Texas Forum on Civil Liberties and Civil Rights.
In the course of earning his Juris Doctor, Mr. Joe completed training in mediation and was certified to mediate in his third year of law school. Prior to law school Mr. Joe attended Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History.

Annissa Obasi
Annissa Obasi serves as “of counsel” to the firm and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. In addition to business development, Ms. Obasi focuses on multiple aspects of church and non-profit organization management including formation, compliance, governance, and litigation/mediation.
Ms. Obasi graduated magna cum laude from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 1998 where she was a published member of the law review and completed mediation training.
After earning her Juris Doctor and being admitted to the bar, Ms. Obasi worked for over a decade in the private and non-profit sectors in non-legal roles that encompassed recruiting and human resources, organizational and project management, and sales and business development. Her legal experience includes serving as an Assistant District Attorney and in private practice. In addition to church and non-profit law, Ms. Obasi has handled juvenile, criminal, probate, employment, and general civil law/litigation matters.

Margo Kimble Dorris
Margo Kimble Dorris joined Anthony|Kennedy, PLLC at the beginning of 2024 and is licensed to practice in the State of Texas. Mrs. Dorris has had the privilege of working with a number of professionals that taught her the impact the practice of law has on clients’ lives. She works tirelessly to provide her clients with the best legal representation possible on various matters.
Mrs. Dorris attended the University of Oklahoma where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Ballet Performance and Communications. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she was on the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Team and a member of Phi Alpha Delta. While in law school, Margo clerked for Liberty Institute (now First Liberty) where she assisted with research for an Amicus Brief filed by Liberty Institute with the Supreme Court of the United States in Connick v. Thompson, 131 S. Ct. 1350 (2011). Mrs. Dorris also clerked for the Hon. Sherry Shipman (16th Judicial District, Denton County) while with Shipman Steppick, P.C., the Hon. Robert Ramirez (County Court at Law No. 2, Denton County), and briefly interned with Senator Jane Nelson.
After being admitted to the bar, Mrs. Dorris worked in private practice for over a decade assisting clients on a variety of matters including corporate formation and governance, intellectual property, real estate, bank law, transactional law, civil litigation, family law, estate planning, and probate.
