About Michele V. Sparkman
Michele Sparkman is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Ms. Sparkman practices in the area of nonprofit transactional law, focusing primarily on churches and religious organizations. Ms. Sparkman regularly assists clients with a broad range of matters, including incorporating nonprofit organizations, drafting corporate governance documents, applying for recognition of tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service, and applying for exemption from state franchise, sales, and property taxes. Ms. Sparkman also has experience drafting employee handbooks and employee agreements, including at-will employment and separation agreements. Ms. Sparkman graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications. Ms. Sparkman earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sparkman was a law clerk for the Honorable Bob McCoy of the Second District Court of Appeals, Fort Worth in 2007-2008.
